STEERING SYSTEM
2. Remove the front wheel by taking off the plastic
cap (18), the outer retainer ring (17) and washer.
3. Remove the tie rod elbow (2).
4. For left steering spindle, remove the steering rod
belbow (6).
5. For left steering spindle, remove steering
column lever (14) and key (13) of the steering
connecting rod.
CAUTION!
The spindle will fall down when the outer
retainer ring is removed.
6. Remove the retainer ring (15) to take out the
steering spindle.
Mounting
1. Grease the steering spindle (16).
2. Put the washer on the steering spindle (16) and
then push up through the bearing.
3. Fit the washer and the outer retainer ring (15)
4. For the left steering spindle, fit the key (13) in
the keyway.
5. For the left steering spindle, fit the steering
column lever (14).
A. Fit the steering column lever on the steering
spindle (16) so that the key (13) fits in the
keyway of the steering column lever.
B. Tap down the steering column lever so that
the upper part of the spindle arm lies flush
with the top of the steering spindle.
C.Screw fast the steering column lever.
6. Fit the steering rod elbow (6) on the steering
column lever (14).
7. Fit the tie rod elbow (2) on the steering column
lever.
8. Grease the wheel axle of the spindle and fit the
wheel, washer and retainer ring (17). Then fit the
plastic cap (18).
