Record Control Net
Record Control Net is the software version for automatic online operation of up to 250 SiViB Record
instruments networked to a PC. A CAN-Bus network or Ethernet (with additional bridges) can be used.
The instruments must have the CAN-Bus option or an RS232 to Ethernet bridge fitted.
In a networked system all SiViB instruments are working independently and in the same manner as in
a stand alone configuration. Only for configuration changes, data upload and live display features the
communication to the PC gets active.
The Record Control Net software from the PC polls the instruments in a configurable time interval for
data upload. After the upload is completed, the status display table is updated. It shows the last
readings and alarm condition. The software can send alarm notification via email.
The main window has an additional button Show Status Tables, which gets you to the overview table
