This MES procedure involves adding up to four IBM Elastic Storage System 5147-102 Storage Enclosures
to an existing capacity conguration using single and dual SAS adapter pairs.
Adding up to two 5147-102 storage enclosures using single SAS adapter pair
The capacity conguration consists of one 5141-FN2 server enclosure and one or more 5147-102 storage
enclosures with enterprise HDDs for data storage. This conguration requires four 3.8TB NVMe drives
installed in the 5141-FN2 server enclosure for Log Tip as part of the system management requirements.
The four 3.8TB NVMe drives for Log Tip are not available for user data storage and are located in drive slot
1, 2, 13, and 14.
