Enclosure clearances
Ensure that additional clearance, as shown in Table 13 on page 10, is available around each of the
control and expansion enclosures.

Acoustical noise emissions
Table 14 on page 10 provides the acoustical specications for FlashSystem 5000 systems. The noise
emission level that is stated is the declared (upper limit) sound power level, in decibels, for a random
sample of enclosures. All measurements are made in accordance with ISO 7779 and reported in
conformance with ISO 9296.
