2.8.6 Graphics accelerator adapters
The IBM Power 770 and Power 780 support up to eight graphics adapters (Table 2-14). They
can be configured to operate in either 8-bit or 24-bit color modes. These adapters support
both analog and digital monitors, and do not support hot-plug installation. The total number of
graphics accelerator adapters in any one partition cannot exceed four.
