      If your Icom Transceiver is transmitting continuously while using the VOX function, even when you're not speaking, it could be due to ambient noise being too loud. Try pushing [ ] and [H/L•LOCK] to deactivate the VOX function. Alternatively, set the VOX gain to a lower sensitivity value.

      If you're unable to transmit or select high power on your Icom Transceiver, it could be due to several reasons: 1. Some channels are set for low power or receive only, so try changing channels. 2. The battery may be exhausted; recharge the battery pack. 3. Verify the battery voltage is correct in case the battery is overcharged. 4. The output power might be set to low; push [H/L•LOCK] to select high power.

      If you're not getting any sound from your Icom Transceiver's speaker, here are a few things to check: * The squelch level might be too tight. Try setting the squelch to the threshold point. * The volume level could be too low. Rotate [VOL] to adjust it to a suitable level. * If the speaker has been exposed to water, push and hold both [16•C] and [H/L•LOCK] to drain the water. * If water has entered the [SP MIC] connector, dry the connector.
