Connecting batteries and cable
To insert batteries into the CardioPet* ECG Device and connect the cables:
1. Insert two AA batteries (included) into the back of the device.
WARNING: Never use rechargeable batteries. They may cause a fire hazard. Always use
nonrechargeable alkaline batteries.
2. Attach a clip to each of the four cables.
3. Plug the single end of the cable into the CardioPet device, aligning the arrow with the triangle on the
back of the device, as shown below.
Note: To disconnect the cable, pull the outer cylinder of the connector to release the lock.
Turning the device on/off
• To turn on the CardioPet device, press the power button .
The power light on the right side of the device will illuminate.
• To turn off the device, press the power button again.
Note: The device will turn off automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity.
