4. Tests/approvals
The evaluation unit G15002 has been tested and
certified by TÜV Informationstechnik.
The evaluation unit was developed and tested in
accordance with the following directives and standards:

• 73/23/EEC or 93/68 low voltage directive
• EN 50178 (1997) Electronic equipment for use in power installations
• DIN V VDE 0801 (1990) and amendment A1 (1994) Principles for computers in
safety-related systems
• DIN V 19250 (1994) Requirement class AK 5, Fundamental safety aspects to be
considered for measurement and control equipment
• DIN V 19251 (1995) MC protection equipment - Requirements and measures for
safeguarded function
• EN 954-1 (1996) Category 4, Safety of machinery. Safety-related parts of control
systems
• EN 60204-1: (1997) (where applicable) Electrical equipment of machines
• IEC 60664-1: (1992) Insulation coordination for equipment within low-voltage
