GENERAL

The

Generate

Amplifier

is

a

30

dB

amplifier

intended

to

increase

the

output

level

of

a

generated

signal

above

the

normal

maximum

level

by

the

service

monitor.

It

is

not

designed

to

receive

any

signal

directly

from

a

Unit

Under

Test

(UUT);

however,

if

properly

installed,

it

can

be

used

to

transmit

and

receive

signals

''off

the

air'',

using

the

antenna.

into

the

AUX

PWR

Jack

on

the

Front

Panel

of

the

Service

Monitor

and

connect

the

BNC

connector

to

the

T/R

Jack

(reference

Figure

5-l).
