3.11 Pressure tanks
According to the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU, the pressure accumula-
tors built into the machine are of category I / module A.
They are CE marked by the manufacturer, and a declaration of conformity has been
issued.
Due to this categorization, the pressure accumulators must be put into operation
and inspected in accordance with national laws and standards.
The machine's operator/owner is obliged to check the pressure accu-
mulator according to applicable rules and directives.
The directives and regulations applicable in the country of use must
be followed.
According to applicable regulations, defective pressure accumulators must be de-
pressurized and disposed of by an authorized and qualified employee.
The pressure accumulator must be replaced as specified in the user manual of the
manufacturer.
When carrying out maintenance work on fluid systems (hy-
draulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems), make sure the
respective system has been depressurized before starting the
work (using accumulator drain valve / manual slide valve).
