  If you're experiencing no sound or very low sound from your Insignia Speakers soundbar, here's what to check: * Ensure you're connected to an audio OUT jack on your sound source, not an INPUT. * Verify the soundbar's volume level is adequately high. * For Bluetooth, increase the volume on your Bluetooth device and ensure it's not paired with another device. * Confirm the volume isn't muted by pressing the mute button. * Select the correct audio source using the SOURCE button. * Ensure the power is on and all connections are secure. * Also, check the volume on your sound source and ensure it's outputting sound. * For OPTICAL connections, set the source device’s audio to “PCM” format. * Inspect the audio cable for damage and try another one.

What to do if Insignia Speakers remote control does not work?

  If the remote control for your Insignia Speakers isn't working, first remove any obstacles between the remote and the IR sensor on the soundbar. If that doesn't work, the batteries in the remote control may be exhausted, so replace them. Finally, make sure that you are not too far from the soundbar. The remote control is only effective to approximately 26 ft. (8 m) of the soundbar and within 30° on either side.

Why is there no sound in Bluetooth mode on my Insignia NS-SBAR21F20?

  If you're experiencing no sound or low volume in Bluetooth mode on your Insignia Speakers, ensure that your Bluetooth device is turned on, Bluetooth is enabled, and “NS-SBAR21F20” is selected. Also, turn up the volume on both your soundbar and your Bluetooth device. Make sure that your Bluetooth device is not muted and that you are playing music from it. Finally, ensure that you have selected the Bluetooth source on your soundbar and that neither your soundbar nor your Bluetooth device is paired with another device.

  If your TV remote isn't controlling your Insignia Speakers soundbar, and you're using a universal remote control, ensure it's programmed to your soundbar. Note that universal remotes typically only control volume. Use the soundbar's controls or its original remote to change the audio source or sound mode. Make sure that you aim your universal remote at the remote sensor on the front of your soundbar and that you select the correct source on your universal remote.

  If your Bluetooth device keeps unpairing from your Insignia Speakers, try shortening the distance between your soundbar and your Bluetooth device. If the battery on your Bluetooth device is low, recharge it.

  If the sound from your Insignia Speakers is breaking up or buzzing, ensure you're connected to an audio OUT jack on your sound source, not an INPUT jack. Check that all connections are secure and cables are not broken or damaged. If using the OPTICAL connection, set the source device’s audio source to “PCM” format. Try connecting to a different source device to see if the buzzing persists. Use a different connection method (like Optical instead of AUX IN) to ensure the jacks on both devices are working. Also, make sure that the audio cable you are using is not damaged or broken.

  The wireless subwoofer for Insignia Speakers is set at the factory to link automatically with the soundbar when turned on. If the link indicator doesn't light up, or if the soundbar has been serviced recently, you may need to re-pair the devices. Also, make sure that the subwoofer is next to soundbar.

Put your soundbar into pairing mode, then refresh the list of Bluetooth devices on your device. Also, make sure that your Bluetooth device is visible to other devices.
