Why is Integra DTR-7.1 sound distorted and stereo separation bad?
J
jessicaparkerSep 12, 2025
If the indicators light for stereo reception, but the sound is distorted and stereo separation is bad on your Integra Receiver, change to an FM indoor antenna, because the station is too strong. If the issue persists, use an antenna that has better directivity and select a point where distortion is least, because of multiple reflection of the radio waves because of tall buildings or mountains.

Why do Integra Receiver stereo reception flicker and hiss on FM stations?
J
Jenna ReynoldsSep 12, 2025
If the indicators for stereo reception flicker and hiss is heard on FM stations with your Integra Receiver, install an outdoor FM antenna, because the station is too weak. Also, change the position or direction of the outdoor antenna, because stereo FM broadcasts cover only about half the distance of an ordinary broadcast.
