5. Set the ship’s HEADING and GYRO TYPE
Entry of ships heading is not required when your system is connected to a
NMEA0813 or 1:1 Synchro Heading Gyro Compass output. Determine the type of gyro
compass th at is used on the ship. Ensure that the Gyro Type 1) is set correctly.
Press LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys until the desired character is underscored
(selected). Press UP and DOWN arrow keys to increase /decrease the value.
Or press NUMBERkeys to set the desired value directly. Press OK key to set the
parameter.
