“lan”.


TheDynamicHostConfigurationProtocol(DHCP)isastandardizednetworkprotocolusedonInternet
Protocol(IP)networksfordynamicallydistributingnetworkconfigurationparameters,suchasIP
addressesforinterfacesandservices.WithDHCP,computersrequestIPaddressesandnetworking
parametersautomaticallyfromaDHCPserver,reducingtheneedforanetworkadministratororauserto
configurethesesettingsmanually.ThemostcommonexampleofaDHCPserverisarouter,which
connectslocalnetworkclientstotheInternet.

Ignoreinterface:EnableordisablethisoptiontoactivateordeactivatetheDHCPservicefortheinterface.


