Aposturebeltisanoptionwhichcaneitherbexedto
themobilitydeviceex-worksorcanberetrottedbyyour
specialistprovider.Ifyourmobilitydeviceisttedwitha
posturebelt,yourspecialistproviderwillhaveinformedyou
aboutttingandusage.
Theposturebeltisusedtohelpthemobilitydeviceuser
keepanoptimumseatingposition.Correctuseofthe
beltassiststheuserinsittingsecurely,comfortablyand
well-positionedinthemobilitydevice,especiallyforsuch
userswhodonothavesuchagoodsenseofbalancewhile
sitting.

withregardtocorrectttinganduse.

5.1.2Adjustingtheposturebeltcorrectly
Thebeltshouldbetightenoughtoensurethatyou
aresittingcomfortablyandthatyourbodyisinthe
correctsittingposition.
1.Ensurethatyouaresittingcorrectly,whichmeansthat
youaresittingrightatthebackoftheseat,yourpelvis
ispositionederectandassymmetricallyaspossible,not
tothefront,tothesideoratoneedgeoftheseat.
2.Positiontheposturebeltsothatyourhipbonescanbe
easilyfeltabovethebelt.
3.Adjustthebeltlengthusingoneoftheadjustmentaids
describedabove.Thebeltshouldbeadjustedsothat
youcantaathandbetweenthebeltandyourbody.
4.Thebuckleshouldbepositionedascentrallyaspossible.

5.Checkyourbelteveryweektoensurethatitisstillin
goodworkingcondition,toensureithasnodamageor
wear,andthatitisxedproperlytothemobilitydevice.
