oftime,youneedtoprepareitforstoragetoensurea
longerlifeforyourmobilitydeviceandbatteries.
Storingmobilitydeviceandbatteries
•Werecommendtostorethemobilitydeviceata
temperatureof15°C,avoidhotandcoldextremes
whenstoringtoensurealongservicelifeoftheproduct
andbatteries.
•Thecomponentsaretestedandapprovedforgreater
temperaturerangesasdetailedbelow:
–Allowabletemperaturerangetostorethemobility
deviceis-40°upto65°C.
–Allowabletemperaturerangetostorebatteriesis
-25°upto65°C.
•Evennotbeingused,batteriesdischargethemselves.
Bestpracticeistodisconnectthebatterysupplyfrom
thepowermoduleifstoringthemobilitydevicelonger
thantwoweeks.Dependingonthemobilitydevice
model,youcaneitherremovethebatterypacksor
disconnectthebatteriesfromthepowermodule.Refer
tothecorrespondingchapteraboutdisconnectingthe
batteries.Ifindoubtwhichcabletodisconnect,contact
yourprovider.
•Batteriesshouldalwaysbefullychargedbeforestoring.
•Ifstoringthemobilitydevicelongerthanfourweeks,
checkthebatteriesonceamonthandrechargeas
needed(beforegaugereadshalffull)toavoiddamage.
•Storeinadry,well-ventilatedenvironmentprotected
fromouterinuences.
