Theelectronicsystemoffersdiagnosticinformation
tosupportthetechnicianduringtherecognitionand
recticationoffaultsonthescooter .
Theelectronicsystemreactsdifferentlydependingonthe
seriousnessofthefaultanditseffectonusersafety.Itcan,
forexample:
•Displaytheerrorcodeasawarningandallowboth
drivingandnormaloperationtocontinue.
•Displaytheerrorcode,stopthescooterandprevent
furthertraveluntiltheelectronicsystemhasbeen
switchedoffandswitchedonagain.
•Displaytheerrorcode,stopthescooterandnotpermit
furthertraveluntilthefaulthasbeenrectied.

Ifthescootershowsafailure,usethefollowingguideto
locatethefault.
Beforemakinganydiagnosis,ensurethatthescooter
hasbeenswitchedonatthekeyswitch.
Ifthestatusdisplay/LCDdisplayisOFF:
•CheckwhetherthekeyswitchisSWITCHEDON.
•Checkwhetherallcablesarecorrectlyconnected.

Ifthereisafault,thestatusdisplay(1)ashesseveraltimes,
pauses,thenashesagain.Thetypeoffaultisdisplayedby
thenumberofasheswhicharealsoknownasthe"ash
