nightovernight.Dependingonthelevelofdischarge,
itcantakeupto12hoursuntilthebatteriesarefully
chargedagain.
•WhenthebatteryindicatorreachedtheredLEDrange,
chargethebatteriesfor16hoursminimum,neglecting
thechargecompletedisplay!
•Trytoprovidea24hourchargeonceaweektomake
surethatbothbatteriesarefullycharged.
•Donotcycleyourbatteriesatalowstateofcharge
withoutregularlyrechargingthemfully.
•Donotchargeyourbatteriesunderextreme
temperatures.Hightemperaturesabove30°Carenot
recommendedforchargingaswellaslowtemperatures
below10°C.
•UseonlychargingdevicesinClass2.Thisclassof
chargersmaybeleftunattendedduringcharging.All
chargingdeviceswhicharesuppliedbyInvacarecomply
withtheserequirements.
•Youcannotoverchargethebatterieswhenusingthe
chargersuppliedwithyourmobilitydevice,oracharger
thathasbeenapprovedbyInvacare.
•Protectyourchargerfromsourcesofheatsuchas
heatersanddirectsunlight.Ifthebatterycharger
overheats,chargingcurrentwillbereducedandthe
chargingprocessdelayed.
7.2.3Howtochargethebatteries
1.Makesureyoureadandunderstandthebattery
charger'susermanual,ifsupplied,aswellasthesafety
notesonthefrontandrearpanelsofthecharger .
