      Get a qualified person to check the connection between the BDE and ADE. This check should include the connections at both the BDE and ADE, as well as the entire cable between them.

    How to fix no power supplied to BDE on Iridium Marine GPS System?

      First, have a qualified person check the power being supplied to the BDE. It should be between 11 – 32VDC at the input to the BDE and capable of providing up to 50W. If power is being supplied, remove the SIM cover and ensure that the on/off switch is in the 'on' position. With the switch on, the LED should be green. If the switch is on and this LED remains amber, call your service provider for assistance.

      If your Iridium Antenna BDE cannot communicate with the ADE, have a qualified technician inspect the connection between the BDE and ADE. This includes checking the connections at both the BDE and ADE, as well as the entire cable that connects them.

      If power is supplied to the BDE of your Iridium Marine GPS System, but the BDE is switched off, remove the SIM cover and ensure that the on/off switch is in the on position. When this switch is in the on position the LED should be green. If the switch is on and this LED remains amber then call your service provider for assistance.
