2.1. Application
The Smartboiler is a hot water heater designed for use in the
kitchen, shower and/or bath. The water heater is capable of
supplying a comfortable flow of hot water to these tap points
simultaneously.
The water heater is equipped with a copper inner tank.
Smartboiler Mono
The Smartboiler Mono is a low-power heater with a single
heating element with a power level of 1000 W or 1750 W.
Smartboiler Mono-plus
The Smartboiler Mono-plus is a low-power heater with two
heating elements with a combined power level of 2500 W.
The heater can be connected in one of the following ways:
● Water pressure principle with safety group.
This connection method is described in this manual.
● Water pressure principle with safety mixer tap.

● Low pressure principle with special low pressure mixer tap.

2.2. What is a Smartboiler?
The Smartboiler is part of a generation of electric water heaters
with a self-learning capacity. Thanks to its SMART CONTROL
feature, the water heater can learn the end users' usage patterns
and adjust when to start heating water accordingly. This means
heating is put back, reducing losses due to inactivity. This self-
learning feature can save up to 10% on energy consumption
compared to a traditional electric water heater.
To guarantee continued comfort, the water heater also has a boost
function. This function can be used to request additional hot water
at any time.
2.3. Service app
The Itho DaalderopService app is intended only for the installer and
can be used for:
● requesting product information;
● commissioning;
● registering products for monitoring;
● resolving errors;
● warranty or service requests.

The app is easy to download: simply scan the QR code below using
your smartphone or tablet.
● The app can be used with the operating systems Android 4.4 or
later and iOS 10 or later.
● The app is designed specifically for smartphones. Using it on a
tablet is less advantageous.
You can log in to the Service app with your account.Itho Daalderop
This is the same account that you, as the installer, use to log in to
our business website.
ä Caution!
When commissioning a water heater, please ensure that the app
is installed in good time (at least one day before use) and that
your Itho Daalderop account has been requested.
It may take a while before your account is activated.
