Open the looper cover.
With a forward brushing movement, use the lint brush to
remove any lint.

knife area or feed dog.

Make sure to turn the power switch off before cleaning

Cleaning the Feed Dog
z Position the chaining nger lower than the surface of
the needle plate by pulling the chaning nger switch
knob toward you to “R” (refer to page 13).

x Open the looper cover and the side cover.
c Remove the needle and the presser foot (refer to
pages 9 and 10).
v Remove the setscrew with the large screw driver and
remove the needle plate.

b Use the lint brush to remove any lint from around the
feed dog.

n Attach the needle plate by inserting the rib under the
edge of the rear cover and aligning the hole in the
needle plate with the pin.
Tighten the setscrew with the screwdriver.
