Any (not necessary to adjust)
[1]Set the thread tension at 1 ~ 3, and stitch length
at 3 ~ 4, sew straight lines 1 cm (3/8˝) apart
across the area to be smocked.
Knot the needle and bobbin threads along one
edge. Pull the bobbin threads and distribute
gathers evenly.
1. 1 cm (3/8˝)

4. Wrong side of the fabric
[2]Sew lines of the pattern between the straight
seams. Pull out the gathering stitches.
Scallop Stitch
Machine setting
1. Pattern #11
2. Foot F: Satin stitch foot
3. Thread tension Auto
4. Stitch width 3 ~ 6.5
5. Stitch length 0.5 ~ 1
[1]Sew along the raw edge of the fabric leaving a
1 cm allowance.
[2]Trim off the allowance close to the stitches. Make
sure no to cut the stitches.
