Cleaning the Hook
CAUTION:
Turn the power switch off before cleaning the hook
area.
Open the hook cover and remove the bobbin case.
Clean the inside of the hook with the lint brush.

Cleaning the Bobbin Case
Remove the bobbin from the bobbin case.
Clean the inside of the bobbin case with the lint brush.
Insert a corner of a piece of paper under the tension
blade and scrape out lint.
Clean the outside of the bobbin case and the opening
with lint brush.

Cleaning the Tension Leaves and Disks
Clean lint and wax in the tension area with a piece of
paper.
Insert a piece of paper under the tension leaf or
between the tension disks and scrape out lint and
wax.
