38 Apply a bead of JCB Multigasket to the mating face of
the gearbox cover as shown at A. Refit the torque
converter housing. Apply JCB Threadlocker and Sealer
to the 12 bolts and tighten to 56 Nm (42 lbf ft).

36 Place new pump sealing ring in position. Make sure that
the charge pump drain hole is clear before fitting a new
oil seal to the pump housing.
37 Install pump taking care to align mounting holes. Apply
JCB Threadlocker and Sealer to bolts and, using new
sealing washers, tighten to 28 Nm (21 lbf ft).
