Impact Protection
CAUTION When using an attachment for example a hydraulic breaker, where the risk of flying debris is
present, a protective layer or screen guard must be attached to the front of the canopy (or close the cab
front window(s)) to protect the operator from flying debris which could cause injury.
The safety label warns the operator against the risk of flying debris when they use an attachment. The
attachment must not be used if a protective layer or screen guard has not been installed on the machine.
Make sure that the attachment, for example a hydraulic breaker is positioned in front of the cab before it is
operated. Do not slew the boom to the side during operation of the attachment.
Consult your JCB dealer for further information.
