37 If necessary remove socket head plug 152, taking steps
not to drop steel ball 168. Clean and refit immediately, if
necessary, renewing the ball 168. Tighten the plug to a
torque of 29.5 Nm (21.7 lbf ft).
38 Place a protective cloth over parking brake piston 112.
Connect a hydraulic hand pump (see Service Tools,
Section 1) to the parking brake oil port and use the
pump to force out the piston.
! CAUTION
When using compressed air, wear safety glasses and
gloves. Do not direct compressed air at your skin.

Take care to avoid damage to the piston when it is
ejected.
39 Remove 'O' rings 135 and 139 from parking brake
piston 112 and discard them.
40 Place a suitable container below the spindle. Turn the
motor upside down and allow the hydraulic oil to drain
out.
