Flue Adaptor with Liner
All res need some type of adaptor to connect to the ue. The Jetmaster ue adaptor supplied may be attached
to the base of the ue liner rst then pushed up while the outer rebox and inner re box are slid into place.
After the re is installed then, working from the inside it should be possible to pull the adaptor together with liner
downwards into the recess at the top of the re. Once it has seated correctly then the 3 bolts must be screwed
into the nut xings to hold it in place.
The Jetmaster re is not a structural unit; although very robust it is not designed to take the weight of the ue.
Therefore a structural lintel will need to be provided for clay liners or in the case of pre fabricated stainless steel
chimney the chimney manufactures recommended xing brackets or method must be used.
Flue Adaptor with Existing Flue
If the existing ue is to be used and the adaptor joined directly to the ue then the opening will need to be
prepared high enough to allow the outer box adaptor and any ue pipe to be slid in place and with sufcient room
to work to enable connection between re and ue.
