Uni-Valve Service
Removal
1. Relieve pressure from the pump, shut off
the engine and disengage the clutch.
2. Turn off the water supply and drain the
water tank.
3. Disconnect the bypass drain hose and the
supply coupling from the manifold (Fig-
ure 99).
4. Open the rod box cover (Figure 100) and
disconnect the lubrication lines from the
stufng box ttings.
5. Remove the manifold bolts (Figure 101).
Ensure the hinge rod (Figure 102) is
installed before removing the bolts.
Note: The pump wrench can be used with
a hammer to remove the manifold
bolts.
WARNING
!!
If the hinge rod is missing, the manifold can fall
and cause serious injury.
