menu screens.

value. When the required parameter value flashes in the setup screen, press Next to save the

After 2 minutes of inactivity in a system status or system setup screen, the controller exits the
system setup mode and the LCD reverts to the sensor status screens.
Accessing and navigating the UI
System 450 control modules feature a backlit LCD for monitoring system status and a four-button
touchpad UI that you can use to set up the sensors and outputs in your control system. Figure 1
shows the condensing unit control module UI features and functions.
During normal operation, the condensing unit control module LCD displays the sensor status
screens. The main screens are the sensor status screens, which scroll automatically and provide a
real-time status of the conditions sensed at the hard-wired sensors.
Sensor and output status screens
Condensing unit control module main screens display the status at the hard-wired Sn-1 and Sn-3
sensors if you use them in the control system.
From the sensor status screens, you can scroll through and view the output status screens.
When the control module LCD automatically scrolls through the sensor status screens, hold Next to
scroll through and display the sensor status screens and the output status screens for all sensors
and outputs set up in your control system.
When you stop holding Next, the sensor or output status screen that you are viewing displays for
2 minutes before it times out and returns to the main screens. During the 2 minute pause, you can
monitor a sensor that changes quickly during system setup or normal system operation.
Figure 2 shows the sensor status and the sensor and output status screens for a standard
condensing unit control system.
