If the red light illuminates or there is no reader light when a card is used and access is denied on your Johnson Controls Control Unit, consider the following: * Ensure the Time zone, Reader, Issue Level, and Facility Code are correct. * Verify the card is in the database. * Confirm the correct card type is being used. * Swipe the card in the correct direction. * Test the reader for functionality. * Replace the card if damaged. * Inspect and repair the cabling. * Replace the PCB if it has failed. * Avoid multiple proximity cards near the reader.
