Johnson Controls System 450 Series - System Setup; Component Requirements and Assembly

• Optional pump down control
- Control the compressor and liquid line solenoid valve to minimize liquid refrigerant
entering the compressor. Use the System 450 expansion module to add necessary
additional relay outputs.
• Anti-short cycle delay
- Set the amount of time that the compressor must remain off before it can cycle on again.
• Alarm notifications
- Supported alarm functions include sensor failure, high space temperature, System 450
communications bus failure, defrost termination failure, and defrost error.
Condensing unit control module UI
Each condensing unit control system requires a single C450CCU condensing unit control module. To
set up and monitor your control system, use the screens on the condensing unit control module's
LCD. To navigate the control system status and setup screens and to set up the system parameters,
use the four-button touchpad.
