be connected inside the control cabinet. Devices such as relays, switches, transducers and controls and
any external wiring must not be installed inside the micro panel. All wiring must be in accordance with
the published specifications of Johnson Controls and must be performed only by a qualified electrician.

manufacturer’s warranty and cause serious damage to property or personal injury.
Refrigerant warning
WARNING
Working with chiller vessels which are designed to contain contents under pressure must only be
conducted by fully qualified technicians who have been certified in accordance with EPA Section 608 of
the Clean Air Act requirements for the US or equivalently the Federal Halocarbon Regulations and the
Refrigerant Code of Practice for Canada. This equipment is only intended for installation in locations
that are not accessible to the general public. Further, this equipment is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge. Refrigerant R-1234ze is classified as an A2L refrigerant and must be handled in accordance
with all governing regulations. Failure to meet this requirement can result in damage to equipment,

and pose a risk of personal injury or death. It is the responsibility of any service technician or operator
to adhere to these requirements. See 160.00-AD10 for greater details regarding the application and use

YORK Chiller Access Manager - system security statement
YORK
®
Chiller Access Manager is a feature that provides secure access to YORK chiller control
panels. Users download the YORK Chiller Access Manager app, create an account, and use the
app to generate dynamic access codes. Owners can use YORK Chiller Access Manager to view and
control who can operate, maintain, and service the chiller. This ensures protection of an asset that
is critical to facility operation. To invalidate all outstanding access codes, owners can obtain a new
private key and reinitialize security.
User access is protected by the YORK Chiller Access Manager in addition to physical controls. The
physical controls are described in the installation manual, Form 160.84-N1, which include restricting
user access to the area and physically locking the control panel. Only authorized personnel should
be granted physical or logical access to the zone, panel, and Access Manager interface. Mechanical
keys to the control panel must be stored in a secure location. To report any product vulnerabilities
or security concerns, either go to the website https://www.johnsoncontrols.com/cyber-solutions or
email productsecurity@jci.com.
The chiller control panel has three configurable security settings. They are accessible from the login
screen.
