2.2 Replacing the batteries
When the batteries have reached the end of their service life, the following message is dis-
played at the bottom of the screen while charging.

n The batteries may only be replaced with rechargeable NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride)
AA-size batteries with a recommended capacity of 2000 mAh.
n The batteries must be removed if the remote control is not going to be used for an
extended period of time (longer than one month).
n Do not place fully discharged batteries in the remote control. The system does not
have sufficient capacity to charge them.
n Remove the batteries from the remote control when they are fully discharged and
recharge them in a charging station.
