2. INSTALLATION PROCEDURES
2.1. General Installation Procedures
1) Install every unit.
2) Connect the units with cables according to the installation drawing of the ship.
3) Connect cables to the sensors onboard according to the installation drawing of the ship.
4) Check if the wirings are done correctly.
5) Run a burn-in test. (For the RCU, make sure that it runs on the battery power, which automatically
turns on during blackout.)
6) Check the communications between the units and from the sensors onboard.
7) Check the recorded data.
