8.2. The Operation Panel Unit (NCG-169)
All failures of the Recording Control Unit are indicated by the Operation Panel Unit as an error code.
Symptom Causes Actions to be taken
The software of the Recording Control Unit lost
control.
Reboot the Recording Control Unit. All LEDs blink and the
ALARM BUZZER
sounds.
Faulty wiring between the Recording Control
Unit and the Operation Panel Unit.
Check the wiring between the Recording
Control Unit and the Operation Panel Unit.
In case a correct wiring
MCB (CDJ-2304) :
Fault in a circuit board or setting data
OPB (CCK-935) :
Fault in a circuit board or setting data
The Recording Control Unit is off.
The power is not supplied to the Protective
Capsule Unit.
Check the switchboard.
Turn on the Power Supply Unit.
Stop manually the recording of data onto the
Protective Capsule Unit.
Press the REC START SWITCH on the Main
Control Board in the Recording Control Unit
and restart the recording of data.
Faulty wiring between the Recording Control
Unit and the Protective Capsule Unit
Check the Connection Box.
RECORDING LED fails
to light.
Fault in the Recording Control Unit
Fault in the Protective Capsule Unit
Reboot the Recording Control Unit and see if
it works normally. If it does not work, contact
us.
ERROR CODE: “01__”
lights up.
Initial value of HEADING is not registered yet. Enter the initial value of HEADING
The CARD STOP SWITCH is left on. Press the CF CARD EJECT BUTTON and
remove it from the Main Control Board. Then
put it back again.
No CF CARD is loaded. Insert a CF CARD into the CARD slot of the
Main Control Board.
ERROR CODE: “31__”
lights up.
Fault in the Recording Control Unit Reboot the Recording Control Unit and see if
it works normally. If it does not work, contact
us.
Fault in the CF CARD Press the CF CARD EJECT BUTTON and
remove it from the Main Control Board. Then
put it back again.
In not activating, format the CF card into
FAT32 with PC.
ERROR CODE: “32__”
lights up.
Fault in the Recording Control Unit Reboot the Recording Control Unit and see if
it works normally. If it does not work, contact
us.
Mismatching in the information between the
Recording Control Unit and the Protective
Capsule Unit.
Press and hold the REC START SWITCH for
ten seconds.
Faulty wiring between the Recording Control
Unit and the Protective Capsule Unit.
Check the Connection Box.
ERROR CODE: “00__”
lights up.
Fault in the Recording Control Unit
Fault in the Protective Capsule Unit
Reboot the Recording Control Unit and see if
it works normally. If it does not work, contact
us.
