4.2. Cabling of the Recording Control Unit NDV-1800/1850
The following cables are connected to the Recording Control Unit (RCU).
1) The power supply cable and the LAN cable of the Ethernet category-5 between the Connection Box and
the RCU.
2) The cable of the RS-485 between the Operation Panel Unit and the RCU.
3) The cables from the Microphone Units.
4) The cables from the VHF radio telephones.
5) The co-axial cables for video signals from the RADAR equipment.
6) The data cable between the NMEA output sensor and the RCU.
7) The communication cable between the Dry Signal Converter and the RCU.
8) The cable for Synchro/Step signal from the Gyro.
9) The cable for Pulse signal from the Speed log.
10) The power cable from the Power Distribution Board.
11) The cable for supplying AC power to the Option Units.
4.2.1. Recording Control Unit NDV-1800/1850 –Connection Box NQE-3163
Connect the power supply cable and LAN cable from the Connection Box to the Recording Control Unit.
The length of each cable should be 30m or less.
