Expanded DAB + information
With DAB + additional information is transmitted in addition to the music signal. These can be retrie-
ved as follows.
Press the "INFO" button on the remote control to retrieve the following information in succession:
• Signal level: The display shows the level using icons from left to right.
 Themoreiconsdisplayed,thebetterthereception.
• PTY (Program Type):Thisdesignatestheclassicationofthestationsaccordingtogenre,e.g.Pop,
 News,Religion,Info,Classics,etc.
•Nameoftheensemble,e.g.DRGermany
• Display of channel and frequency of the set station
• ERR XX: This information shows the error rate of the digital reception. This is also dependent on
the signal level and can also be used to align the antenna.
• XX kbps:Displayofthedatarateofthestatione.g.80kbit/s.Thedataratemayvaryfromstation
to station.
• DABPLUS: Designates the reception mode "DAB +".
• Current date
Menu functions DAB +
Pressing and holding the"MENU" button opens a menu in which you can set various functions for
DAB+. Use the or buttons to scroll through the menu. The following functions are available:
• Full scan:Anotherautomaticstationsearch.Conrmthefunctionwiththe uII button.
• Manual tune:Thisallowsyoutomanuallysetaspecicreceptionstation.Usingthe uII button
 conrmsthefunctionandshowsthecurrentlysetstationwiththecorrespondingfrequency.
• Press the or button to manually select another channel. Using the uII button you can
 conrmtheselection.Afterthat,thesignallevelisshowninthedisplay,anotherpresschargesthe
current ensemble.
• DRC (Dynamic Range Control):Ifsupportedbytheselectedstation,itispossibletoadjustthe
dynamic range. Possible settings are "Off","Low" and "High". The selection is made using the
or buttons,theselectionisconrmedwiththe uII button.
• PRUNE: This deletes invalid stations from the station list. Select "Yes/No" using the or ,
 buttonsandconrmtheselectionwiththe uII button.
• SYSTEM: Settingsforsleeptimer,time,backlight,languageandfactorysettings,softwareupgrade
and software version.
