Basic functions
Connect the power cord to the device and to a suitable power outlet.
Telescopic antenna
1. Thetelescopicantennaislocatedonthetopofthedevice,totheleftoftheCDcompartment.
2. Pulloutalltheelementscompletely.
3. Align the antenna for the best reception.
Power On
Press the button on the remote control or on the device. The display will show
"JVC Boomblaster". Press the button again to switch off the device.
Volume control
Turn the "VOL" knob on the device or press the “VOL +/-" button on the remote control to increase
or decrease the volume. The selected volume is displayed graphically.
Temporarily turning off the volume: Todothis,pressthe button on the remote control. The
"MUTE" ashesinthedisplay.Thenexttimethebuttonispressed,theoriginalvolumeisrestored.
Selecting a Source
Press the

button on the main device or on the "SOURCE" button on the remote control to select
the desired playback source.
Equalizer
Press the
EQ
button on the remote control to successively enter the following settings: ROCK ->
JAZZ -> POP -> CLASSIC -> FLAT ->
Using the "BASS"buttononthedevicea2-stagebassamplicationcanbecalledup.
Navigate in menus
Toenterthemenu,pressthe"MENU" button on the device. The selection of the menu item or the
setting of numbers is done via or buttons,theconrmationbypressingtheuII button.
Setting the menu language
1. TurnonthedeviceandselectthesourceUSB.
2. Pressthe"MENU" button,andthe"System"menuwillappearinthedisplay.Thenconrmwith
the uII button.
3. By pressing the buttons
or select the "Language"menuandthenconrm.
4. Usethebuttons or toselectandconrmthedesiredlanguage.
