please proceed as follows:
Components and functions
Installing the optional BN-R5000 battery
Attention: Use only the battery pack BN-R5000! Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced by
an incorrect type.
•Removethebatterycompartmentcoverlockingscrew(indicatedbyarrowmarking

,seepage8)
with a suitable Phillips screwdriver.
• Press down the left and right latches of the lid and remove them.
• The battery should be positioned so that the connection cable is pointing to the left and the
screwed bottom is down.
• Connect the connecting cables and carefully insert the battery into the battery compartment. The
connection cable is stowed on the left side of the compartment. Avoid crushing the cables.
• Put the lid back into the battery compartment and snap the two tabs into the compartment.
Then insert the screw and tighten.
The battery is being charged in the device. You can read the charge status in the display as a symbol
display.
Pleasenote:Inbatterymode,thisdevicecannotbeturnedonwithremotecontrol.Thisistoextend
the lifetime of the battery.
