How to Use Data Logging (OTA Options 370 and 377)
When GPS is enabled, GPS R is indicated at the bottom of the FieldFox
display. Learn more in “GNSS (GPS+) and GPS” on page 650.
Data Logging Procedure
—Press Trace 6
—Then More
—Then Data Logging
—Then Record
is displayed in the left of screen graticules.
During recording, choose from the following:
— Pause Resume
Temporarily halts recording until pressed again. The
incoming trace continues to sweep. Press again to continue recording.
— Stop
Immediately stops recording. For more, refer to “How to use the
FieldFox labeler ” on page 674.
— File Save
to opens a softkey menu to enable you to save your data log and
related file settings. For more, refer to “To change Recording Configuration
settings:” on page 323.
— Record Settings
to opens a softkey menu to enable you change your record
related settings. For more, refer to “To change Recording Configuration
settings:” on page 323.
To change Recording Configuration settings:
—Press Measure 1
—Then More > Data Logging > Record Settings
If Recording or Playback is not occurring when you think it should, check
the following:
— Is the sweep in HOLD? (upper-left annotation), or check the Sweep
menu for Continuous set to OFF.
— Is Recording or Playback Paused? (mid-left annotation)
— Is the Record or Playback Interval set too long? (Configuration
settings.)
Record-Play files are saved to:
— Record-Play files are save-recalled to:
"[CurrentDevice]\RecordPlayback\OTA"
