CLEANING AIR CLEANER PRIMARY

1. Remove the air cleaner cover and
element.
2. Clean the element:
1) When dry dust adheres to the element,
blow compressed air from the inside,
turning the element. The compressed
air pressure must be below 686 kPa
(7 kgf/cm
3
, 99 psi).

1. Check to see that all lines and hose
clamps are tight and not damaged.
2. If hoses and clamps are found worn
or damaged, replace or repair them at
once.
NOTE
If the fuel line is removed, be sure to
properly bleed the fuel system. (See
“Bleeding Fuel System” in as required
maintenance)
