7.3 Receiving Short Message
When the radio receives a message, the LCD will remind you of the new message and display the icon of
unread message on the status bar.
You can enter the inbox and read the message.
8. Emergency Alarm
Under emergency, you can send a confirmed emergency alarm and an emergency voice message to a
specified radio group. You can send an emergency alarm anytime even signals are being received through
the current channel.
The radio supports three modes of emergency alarm.
1) Emergency alarm
2) Emergency call
3) Emergency alarm with background tone
Each mode of emergency alarm has the following types.
