G. Allowed and not allowed uses
Allowed uses
The MEPP is composed by the bearer vehicle and the lift which is integral part of the machine.
It is made to lift persons and work tools, according to the indications, the maximum work
cycles intended for the MEPP is 100 000 cycles. According to the EN 280 standard, the
100 000 work cycles, if executed on a regular basis during 10 years should correspond to the
following utisation : 50 weeks a year, 40 hours a week, 5 work cycles per hour.
This machine, must be used by trained operators to ensure an absolute security and to avoid
any hazard.
Not allowed uses
Any different use from what is specified in the paragraph II.G.1 : Allowed uses.
Cases where the builder will not be liable
The builder will not be liable in the following cases :
Uses not intended in this booklet.
Improper use of the machine or use by non qualified persons.
Uses non compliant to norms.
Lack of scheduled upkeep.
Unauthorized modifications.
Removal of seals.
Use of non original spare parts.
Failure to comply with the instructions.
Non filling or signing of the intervention form (See chapter IX F).
Load limiter
On standard, our lifts are not equipped with load limiters, they correspond to reinforced
stability criters from the EN 280 norm. Namely, stalibity tests with 150% of the nominal charge
(static) and 110% (dynamic) with reduced bucket dimensions.
