VIII. DISMANTLING AND REMOVAL
A. Operator’s ability
Qualified mechanic who have read and understood chapter III about safety as well as this chapter.
B. Dismantling the equipment
As soon as the lifetime has been reached, it must be dismantled. Dismantling must prevent the
machine to be used for the needs it was made for and must allows to retrieve primary materials.
The company could not be considered responsible for any harm done to persons or animals as
well as damages due to the use of the machine or parts of it for functions different from the original
conditions.
C. Dismantling procedure
DISMANTLING AND REMOVAL PROCEEDINGS MUST BE MADE BY QUALIFIED PERSONAL WITH
CORRECT EQUIPEMENT
Dismantling procedure:
Put the machine back in resting position
Shutdown the engine
Collect oil in the tank, pipes and cylinders
Remove all the flexible pipes
Remove electrical wires
Warning:
Give oils to responsible entities for oil removal
Warning:
Flexible pipes must be given to responsible entities for recycling
Warning:
Electrical wires must be given to responsible entities for recycling
Warning:
Steel as well as light alloys parts etc. must be given to responsible entities for
recycling as per applicable legislation.
D. Remaining risks after dismantling
By carrying out the dismantling procedure, there will be no remaining risks after dismantling of the
machine.
