H. Security measures while maintenance
Any maintenance not listed in this manual must be made only by staff authorized by the
company. In any case always proceed carefully and with maximum security measures.
During any maintenance operation, the emergency stop button must be pushed and the vehicle
engine stopped. The lift must also be folded or supported.
Respect the environment: Avoid oil leakage during tank filling and used oils must be eliminated
according to applicable laws.
If using the lower control panel is necessary, always proceed slowly and carefully to avoid
risks of crushing on the operator inside the platform.
Do not use gasoline, solvents or any flammable liquids. Always prefer authorized, non-
flammable and non-toxic cleansers.
While using compressed air, always wear safety glasses with lateral protections keep air
pressure to a maximum of 2 atm (1.9bar).
Never use open flames as a lighting device during maintenance operations.
Ensure that all elements of the hydraulic system are safely closed.
Before unmounting any part of the hydraulic system, ensure that there is no oil or other liquid
under pressure. Oil projections can be almost invisible and have sufficient force to penetrate
under the skin, never unmount parts with hands, use appropriate tools.
