8.3.3. Vacuum Controller
WARNING
Personal injury caused by poisoning or explosion
and damage to the pump.
Make sure that no reactive or explosive mixtures
will be produced when ventilating the vacuum
system through the air inlet.
Make sure that the media are compatible with
each other (when running two different
processes simultaneously).
Use the mains switch to switch the vacuum controller on and
off.
Each vacuum controller can be set individually and will work
independently of the other.
Refer to the vacuum controller’s operating instructions for more
information.
8.3.4. Gas Ballast
WARNING
Personal injury caused by poisoning or explosion
and damage to the pump.
Ensure that the creation of reactive, explosive or
otherwise hazardous mixtures during the supply
of air is prevented.
If the gas ballast valve is open the maximum achievable vac-
uum level is reduced. The gas ballast is adjusted with the
button (see fig. 20).
