6 Installation and connection
Only install the pumps in accordance with the operating pa-
rameters and conditions described in Chapter 3 Technical
data [}12].

Observe the safety instructions (see Chapter 2 Safety
[}6]).

allowing particulate entering the
pump.
DANGER
Risk of dangerous gas mixtures during
pump operation
Depending on the medium being trans-
ferred, breakage of the media-contact-
ing components can result in a danger-
ous mixture if the medium mixes with
the air in the compressor housing or
the surroundings.
à Before using a medium, check the
compatibility of the media-con-
tacting components (see 3 Tech-
nical data [}12]) with the
medium.
6.1 Installing the pump

Store the pump at the installation site to allow it to adapt
to the ambient temperature before installation (condensa-
tion must not be allowed to form).
