Chapter 8
Transferring Pictures
To transfer pictures from your camera to your computer:
1 Place the camera in the Camera Dock.
2 Push the Connect button.
m The Camera Dock light blinks green
while the connection to the computer is
active.
m KODAK Picture Transfer Software automatically opens on your computer
and your pictures are transferred.
You can also transfer your pictures manually while the green light is
blinking. See page 53.
m Then, KODAK Picture Software opens so you can work with your pictures
on your computer. For further details, see Chapter 7, Transferring Pictures
and Videos.
NOTE: When your pictures are transferred, leave the camera in the Camera
Dock. 8 minutes after the transfer is complete, the Camera Dock begins
to monitor battery power and then begins charging whenever necessary.
When Using a Tripod
For stability when using a tripod, remove the camera from the Camera Dock
and connect the tripod directly to the camera, rather than through the Camera
Dock.
The camera tripod socket is located on the bottom of the camera.
