9 Using the Camera Dock

The Kodak EasyShare camera dock 6000:
! Makes it easy to transfer pictures and videos to the computer.
! Charges the Kodak EasyShare Li-Ion rechargeable battery (included with
your camera).
! Supplies power to the camera.
You can purchase a camera dock at a dealer of Kodak products or visit

*Important Note about the Ni-MH Battery
Do not use the Ni-MH rechargeable battery pack in your DX6490 zoom digital
camera. It is compatible with other Kodak EasyShare digital cameras, but not
the DX6490. Instead, use the Li-Ion rechargeable battery that came with your
camera (see page 4). It is rechargeable with the camera dock 6000.
NOTE: If your camera is packaged with a camera dock 6000, the Ni-MH battery
pack is not included.
