5. In Manual Feed mode, simultaneously feed a stack of two, clean
control sheets in landscape orientation. The control sheets feed into
the transport and remain there; they are not ejected from the
transport into the exit tray.
6. When the control sheets are fed into the transport, the control panel
displays the Calibration in progress status with the amount of time
left to complete calibration.
NOTE: The amount of time the calibration process takes to
complete changes depending on the model of scanner.
• 8140 = approximately 7 minutes
• 8120 = approximately 5 minutes
• 8090 = approximately 3.5 minutes
The control sheets are ejected from the scanner when the
calibration is complete.
7. When calibration is successful, press the UP ARROW key to return
to the Camera Calibration menu.
8. Press the CLEAR key to return to the Home menu, reset the initial
scanner feed mode and resume scanning.
If calibration fails, the menu being displayed on the control panel
indicates which camera failed along with a numeric error code. Make
sure the control sheets are clean and perform the calibration again. If
the control sheets show dark marks after calibration, clean the transport
area. If calibration fails after three attempts, contact Technical Support.
